The FCC’s Technical Advisory Council is made up of varied range of leading technical experts. They help to provide the technical expertise the FCC requires to determine important areas of innovation and develop informed technology policies supporting the United States’ competitiveness in the world economy.
The Technical Advisory Council is helping the FCC to continue to spark the putting forth of ideas and recommendations in the National Broadband Plan. This includes how broadband communications can be part of the solution for the delivery and cost containment of healthcare, for energy and environmental conservation, for innovation in education, and in the development of jobs.
