The FCC’s Technical Advisory Council has a diverse spectrum of leading technical experts. They assist in providing the technical expertise the FCC needs to determine important areas of innovation and develop informed technology policies supporting the U.S.’s competitiveness in the world economy.
The Technical Advisory Council is helping the FCC to continue to facilitate the putting forth of ideas and recommendations in the National Broadband Plan. This includes how broadband communications can be part of the solution for the delivery and cost containment of health care, for environmental and energy conservation, for education innovation, and in the development of jobs.
